…of taking pictures that is. Working with Lara Swanson has been so much fun, and forced me to push the envelope in terms of what a photographers logo can be. Her photography is vivid and fun and alternative. She asks brides to look into themselves and question tradition. I really like how her logo came out. It is strong, alternative, and slightly askew. We’re working out colors right now, and a new blog header. She is totally into trying new materials (she’s considering plastic business cards), and I think her final brand package with be amazing. We’ll keep you posted as the new materials develop.  For now check out her website: http://www.laraswansonphoto.com/ Thanks for making my job such a blast Lara! 

I knew I would love working with Abby. First of all, her myspace page had an entertainment combination of Eminem and Ira Glass, a fusion of favorites I had thought was only liked by myself. Plus, her photography is so fresh, and vibrant and fun! She wanted to use a rose but in a cool stark rock and roll kind of way. I’m showing a few choices from the first round, and then taking the one that she really liked and exploring as many possibilities within that original style. Guess what? She decided on the original, and I totally agree! Sometimes you just have to go through the process though. It’s already up on her website, we’re adding it to her blog header, having cute pink square business cards made up, and going to start working on a brochure.
