Gone are the lazy days of summer, now that “school’s out” only brings childcare panic to mind. Have slowed down the pace a little though, as you can see from my lapsed time between entries (sideways smile). So between ice cream cones and laptop log ins (feet resting on our blow-up pool), we are pleased to present the latest creation hot off Anemone Letterpress. You saw his logo and here’s how Doug’s business cards are realized. Definitely one of my favorites. The launch of his site will be soon, and then you can see how Doug Miranda’s whole new brand has come together.
Thank you Carrie for the photos…she prints, she shoots, I do not know what I would do without her!

I just finished up the logo and website for my good friend Suzan Koç. She is a music business veteran offering these fantastic songwriting mentoring workshops, with herself and other songwriting professionals. Best of luck with your new business Suzan, I know you will be a huge success! Check out the website here www.songwritersrendezvous.com

I had the pleasure of meeting Doug Miranda at The Modern Portrait seminar in Los Angeles. He is a great wedding and portrait photographer up in Lake Tahoe (soon to move to Sacramento). He heard me speak to the participants about branding and he just got it. I’m showing the final logo today but we also did letterpress cards, offset cards and a new website is coming. I’ll post these as they go live and get printed. In the meantime, check out Doug’s work here: www.dougmiranda.com I just love how much nature he works into his photography, and did I mention he is just such a nice guy! Look for more of Doug’s postings to come.

When the famed Washington portrait artist Diana Adams approached me to do a logo for her new fine art line, I was honored. I love her art, and am attaching my favorite. You can see how the logo got its inspiration-Pez. Pada Gallery is scheduled to open very soon. I’ll post here when it does.
