Q: Why do you charge more than $100 for an identity?
We base our pricing on the number of hours it will take us to gather the much needed information about your business and your business goals. To do the necessary research and to design many, many more logos than the 5-6 logos we choose to show you in your first round. Our selection and finessing process alone can take a day. We then complete two rounds of refinement, once a direction is chosen. Your final identity will be delivered as a vector eps file as well as jpg and layered psd files in RGB, PMS, CMYK and B&W. We also create a custom guidebook so you can reference your colors and fonts for future projects, or to continue on your own. When you think of all that, it is quite a good deal.
Q: Can we get some client references?
We have a pretty extensive testimonial list here. We pride ourselves on our client relationships and do everything we can to cultivate them.
Q: What if I do not like a logo in the first round?
Our first round of design is the largest chunk of time for the entire identity design. We spend as much time as we can gathering a clear picture of what it is that your company would like to portray before putting pencil to paper. Most of out clients choose a logo from the first round with very little in terms of changes, some choose a direction with a sprinkling of this idea and that…and voila. However, if we must go back to the literal drawing board we will do our very best to see where there was a breakdown in communication. Additional charges for new concepts may occur at that time.
Q: How long will my project take?
Identities typically take 3-4 weeks depending on feedback time from our clients, custom blogsites can take 4-6 weeks depending on their complexity. If working on multiple projects we will do our best to overlap so the process stays continual and you can put your new brand and marketing effort to work for you.
Q: How long is your waitlist?
We try and price ourselves to never have more than a month or two of a waitlist. We only take on 4-5 clients at a time. Your project is important to us, and our pricing means that your do not have to wait and you have our full attention. Once you have decided to take on the serious business of rebranding, every month you have to wait is potential money lost.
Q: Are your custom portfolio blogsites really built in WordPress, they look like Flash sites?
We build our custom portfolio blogsites in WordPress because of its state of the art content management system, it is easily upgradable and updateable, and because it is great for SEO. We push the envelope on what a “blogsite” looks like because our clients need great looking sites that are SEO optimized. Small-mid sized creative businesses need to make their marketing investments make an impact and differentiate themselves from their competition. We develop products (like our custom portfolio blogsites) to do just that.

Q: How does your payment process work?
We require 1/2 deposit to begin a project (no work can occur until deposit is received), 1/4 when we are 75% of the way through your project, and the final 1/4 before deliver of your final files or launch of your site.
Q: Do you offer discounts to returning customers?
We offer a 15% discount on our current pricelist to our returning customers. We love our clients, and want to give them as much incentive to put their best marketing foot forward (and to continue working together). We already have a good idea about your business, which saves us a bit of exploration time. We do still want to have a conversation with you to check the temperature of your business.
