We recently learned that some Identity Kitchen work will be published in Impressive: Printmaking, Letterpress and Graphic Design, Edited by R. Klanten and H. Hellige, and published by Gestalten Books. You can read more about, or order Impressive here. We’re looking forward to receiving our copy, and getting a little inspired!

We are thrilled to be included in the LogoLounge Master’s series. We received the book last week, and to be represented in a publication alongside of Louise Fili and Duffy + Partners (two design firms we worship) is an honor indeed. We had so much fun creating the identity for Johse Parker it is a pure bonus to be recognized for our efforts.

LogoLounge Master Library, Volume 1, is the beginning of a new series of books by the authors of LogoLounge, featuring the ultimate collection of logos by category. The first book will focus on logos featuring crests and initials. As with Rockport’s other books on logos, this series has the same inspirational draw, featuring over 3,000 logos. Constantly looking for fresh inspiration, designers can use this new series to take a more focused look at core logo applications.

We try and be as green as possible over at IDK. My theory is if you have to print make it worth it. Oh, and use Anemone Letterpress . I guess someone else thought so also. The transparently debossed/letterpressed cards we did for Justine Ungaro are being featured on FPO (for print only). It is a really wonderful inspirational blog dedicated to all things printed. We are thrilled and honored. Thank you!

I am so thrilled to announce that the Kim Seidl’s logo won “Logo of the Day”. On the LoTD blog by Jacob Cass and the famed Jeff Fisher. Not only was Kim such a delight to work with, but to get a little recognition to boot is truly a gift.

Feel free to leave a comment on the site and maybe even vote, I think that is how you get to be logo of the month. Ignore the comments from jealous designers…geesh ;)
