Identity Kitchen was founded in 2008 by award winning designer, Ellen Petty. Her 21 years of experience include work with many top agencies in New York such as Clairol, Ogilvy and Mather, Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners, and Walker Group/CNI. She was also the Principal of Wee Small Hours Design a design studio in New York City serving the design needs of clients internationally, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Columbia University, Matrix Essentials/L’Oreal, Mondera, New School University, TV Guide and The World Bank Group.
Her awards include: several American Graphic Design Awards and a Strathmore Special Recognition Award. She has had articles and project features in Communication Arts, How Magazine, Graphic Design USA and PDN. Her work has been featured in the design books, Logo Lounge Masterfile Library and Impressive. She has had speaking engagements at Parson’s School of Art and Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology both in New York. She has also spoken countless photography workshops and industry meetups about “Branding in the Photography Industry”.
